Applied StemCell has engineered TARGATT™ master cell lines that allow site-specific, stable kockin of large DNA fragments up to 20kb. TARGATT™ enables a single copy, irreversible gene insertion at a landing pad located in the safe-harbor locus of these master cell lines. The cells have displayed high integration efficiencies and medium to high levels of protein expression. The TARGATT™ master cells are ideal for drug screening, toxicity studies, CNS disease or cell modeling, and regenerative medicine studies.
